The Champaign Sportsmen’s Club Campground is a great place to stay if you like to relax.
We are a private club with a campground that is open to the public year round. Whether you are looking for a place to get away and relax or a place to spend your holidays, give us a try. We offer a pleasant camping experience on our campground with nice facilities.
If you want more than just a nice place to camp, Champaign County offers many sights and sounds to keep you occupied. As home to the University of Illinois, there are several museums, concert and theater events, lots of sporting activities and other local attractions. We’ll be happy to help you find the outing or activity that best suits your taste.
If you are looking for a great dining experience, there are many great restaurants and bars in the Champaign area to entice your culinary pallets. Whether your tastes are for home-cooked barbecue, Latin food or Asian cuisine - we will be glad to help you find the right place for your night out.
If you just want to hang close to the campground, we encourage you to enjoy the beautiful Forest Preserve directly across the street from our campground. If you like to golf, take advantage of the challenging 18 hole course, the 9 hole par 3 or driving range- all right across the street from the campground.
Or just bring your fishing pole and sit back and wait for the "big one". We also offer a very nice playground for the children, a rec room with a TV and movies and even a "leave a book, take a book" library for your reading enjoyment.
